Interested In Joining Pack 204?

If your boy is in first through fifth grade, and is interested in possibly joining pack 204, great!  Here's what you can do:

• Email Phil, Scott, or Steve Hartman for more information, or...
• Show up at one of our monthly pack meetings.  They are held at Healy Hall (the big gym) at St. Christopher Church in San Jose.  or...
• Show up at our "recruiting night" in May.

If I show up at a pack meeting, what should I do?

• Show up a little early -- this will make it easier for you to be introduced to the right leader.
• Seek any of the uniformed leaders and let them know you're visiting and possibly interested in joining.
• Someone will introduce you to one of the Den Leaders for boys your son's age, and you can find out from them when den meetings (small group meetings) are held.

...and what should I expect? 

Our Pack meetings tend to be racous!  In general a pack meeting will have the following

· A flag ceremony -- the flag is brought in and the scouts say the Pledge of Allegiance

· An opening prayer, ceremony, and skit -- all by boys from different dens

· A participatory song

· A theme activity of some sort

· Advancement -- boys are called to the stage with their dens for achievements (small steps) and rank advancement (big steps)

· Closing
